He’s running for Senate in Montana, but…
Tim Sheehy isn’t from Montana, so he just doesn’t get it. Seriously. He’s only lived here since 2014.
Montana’s public lands are critical to our state and have been for generations, but Tim Sheehy would remove federal protection – opening them up to be sold off to the highest bidder. Sheehy served on the board of an organization that advocated for the privatization of public lands, but he conveniently forgot to mention it. [HuffPost, 6/12/24]
While everyday Montanans are struggling to afford a place to live any more, wannabe cowboy Tim Sheehy is part of the “deep-pocketed outsiders buying up land.” [NBC News, 5/6/24] His side hustle? Running a 5-day, 5-person archery hunt for a whopping $12,500 per person. Everyday Montanans can’t afford that.
Public lands aren’t the only thing Tim Sheehy could privatize.

Tim Sheehy Calls for ‘Pure Privatization’ of Health CarePolitical Wire, 12/4/23
His call for the “pure privatization” of health care would rip away Medicare benefits for seniors, close rural nursing homes, strip Montana veterans of their health care, and shutter hospitals.
Tim Sheehy’s looking out for big corporations and insurance companies, allowing them to line their pockets at the expense of everyday Montanans. These ideas may be good for him, but they will cost rural Montana.
